Ektaar Music Ltd is a Bangladeshi record label based in Dhaka. Ektaar Music Limited was launched on 30 September 2002 by Sadruddin Khan (Bobby), Ziauddin Khan (Pablo), Sheikh Monirul Alam (Tipu), Thein Han Maung (Titi) and Feisal Siddiqi (Bogey) a combination of musicians with extensive business experience. Ektaar was born out of a widely held perception that the Bangladeshi music industry was failing to promote quality; as a result music produced locally could not compete with music from the region or the rest of the world. The company was founded on the conviction that with appropriate artist selection, state-of-the-art production and strategic promotion, it could place Bangladeshi music on the listening charts of music lovers globally. Some major artists they deal with include Habib Wahid, Hyder Husyn, Leemon, Arnob, Sahana, Anusheh, Bangla, Pothik Nobi, Pantha Kanai, Shahjahan Munshi , Ajob, Renaissance, Gaurab, Krishnokoli, Alif, Moon and Sandipan.
