Porn 3.0

In the world of pornography the term 3.0 is being more widely used to convey the next generation of technologies to impact the industry. For example, this email just came into our office from AVN Media Networks the largest player in the industry.

"And to answer your question, we are very engaged in what is happing within the industry (3.0), and the changes that are taking place are very exciting. I would be happy to speak to you at any time regarding the NextGen of the adult consumer."

Given that the term began after a presentation given at AVN's Apex event where I gave 10 different predictions for the state of the industry I thought it relevant to let those using Porn 3.0 to understand the reference.
