The article for Einsatzkommando currently refers only to Nazi-era extermination units; the continued use of this term suggests that the term Einsatzcommando has had many other non-Nazi uses, or it would have been quietly edited out of the German language, like other Nazi-era terms. I have a feeling that the Einsatzkommando article is referring to the Einsatzgruppen, rather than this general term. Can someone give a good idiomatic translation of "Einsatzkommando" -- presumably it's something like the English "task force"? -- Karada 12:13, 26 April 2006 (UTC)

  • "Task force" is fine IMO. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Supersymetrie (talk • contribs) 09:56, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
