Ekos is an American comic book in progress by creator Michael Turner and collaborator Geoff Johns. There exists only a preview of the comic book so far. In Wizard magazine there was a poll contest to see which comic Michael Turner should develop first, Ekos or Soulfire (readers chose Soulfire by a slim margin.)
The story of Ekos is about an alien creature named Grell who discovers through a premonition that humans are out to destroy and possibly conquer his race's land. It is up to Grell to save it and warn his species.
As of September 2006, Ekos is still on hiatus until Michael Turner can finish his work on Soulfire Vol. 1 as well as his scheduled but as of yet unannounced Marvel Comics title in 2007. (This was previously announced as being an Ultimate Wolverine mini-series, but this has since been canceled).
