Ekmek kadayıfı

A Turkish dessert from Afyonkarahisar,Turkey. Commonly mistaken with an Arabic origin dessert Kanafeh/Kadayif because of its second word. It is totally a different desert.

Ekmek means Bread in Turkish.
"Ekmek kadayıfı" is soft like bread and full of syrup like Kadayif, probably that is why the name is derived as it is.
In Greece, it is also widely known and called just "Ekmek/Εκμεκ".
