Ek Packet Umeed is a soap on Indian television. For broadcast in February 2008, it is part of a package of shows supporting the launch of NDTV's new Imagine channel, which is targeting 80%–90% of India's 70 million cable tv subscribers.

Ek Packet Umeed is a story about the experiences and lives of 15 to 20 women who lives in a building named Umeed Bhavan,who undergoes so much misery and now live a happy life through the packets of food like masalas, aachar, papads, jams that they make and sell every day.Umeed Bhavan is headed by Ambika Dharamraj who is extremely loving and caring towards all the women of Umeed Bhavan.
