Eitri is more commonly known as Sindri. If I was to search for the brother of Brok or the maker of Mjolnir, it would never have occurred to me to search for Eitri - the search word should be Sindri! Yes, I know Sindri is also the name of a hall of red gold. If you know the ethymological meaning of Sindri, you would know that the name and its many meanings is perfect both for a blacksmith and a hall of gold. Sindri is a common name in Iceland and Norway. In Norway however, the modern form is Sindre. I shall also post this on Brokk.
