[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Spreaderpod.jpg
Image:Spreaderpod.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Information edits and wording
I think overall Kariteh you did a decent job of streamlining the article. I reworded and clarified a few things, as well as corrected a few factual errors, particulary those that came from sources that were incorrect to begin with. If you'd like to rewrite any of my edits, that's fine. Just be sure that any game content or info is carefully researched. Also, I deleted a portion of the plot section that I felt was not needed. It had to do with spoilers that I think do not belong in the article. The game is so short, I don't think it necessary to include that sort of plot info. If you have questions or want to discuss any of my edits, let me know. Thanks. Khaavren —Preceding comment was added at 00:00, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the copyediting! However, I think the plot information should be re-added; the article is currently a GA nominee and it needs the information for comprehensiveness. Wikipedia is not censored for spoilers (Wikipedia:Spoiler). Kariteh (talk) 09:42, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
This line here "If the player lets themself die, they receive posthumous promotion in a bad ending sequence.." is inaccurate. A bad ending sequence does occur, but the the way you described it is the part that's incorrect. I'm not sure if you've played the game or not. I think the best course of action for editing in information is to try to stick to working on wording/grammar as opposed to removing content that any of us has added, unless that information is incorrect. If you have questions about any of my edits along the lines of plot info let me know.
I have no problem with any of my edits in which you reword what I say, as long as the information contained remains accurate. I'd like not to constantly edit the article by removing incorrect info as I've noted above. If you want to add gameplay or plot related content, post it on the discussion page for me to look over. If you have a source that's all the better, although with games some sources tend to be wrong. Khaavren (talk) 20:10, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] GA review
The GA review of this article is currently taking place at /GA1, and is transcluded below.
[edit] GA review 1
- Reception section needs expansion... reviews box is crossing into the next section!
- "in which the player controls a fighter spacecraft which must destroy enemy crafts in side-scrolling levels." - I think "that must destroy..." would sound better
- "The game is in 3D but plays in 2D, with occasional shifting of camera angles, thus giving a 2.5D effect." - would make no sense to a non-gamer...clarify
- IGN (and other websites) shouldn't have italics in refs
- "According to the gaming website IGN.." - this sentence needs a ref
