Eine Billion Dollar (One Trillion Dollars (US English — $1012)) is a 2001 novel by Andreas Eschbach.
In 2003, his novel was adapted for the German radio station Südwestrundfunk (SWR). The Turkish translation is titled Bir Trilyon Dolar. The Dutch translation is titled De Erfenis van Fontanelli.

John Salvatore Fontanelli, the son of a shoemaker in New York who works as a pizza driver, inherits a fortune left by a distant ancestor, a 16th-century Florentinian merchant.
Through compound interest, the investment has grown to over one trillion dollars. The will also carries a prophecy: the heir will use the money to give mankind back its "lost future"...
