What do you mean "culture of fear," and what does it have to do with the source that your sentence seemed to be attributed to (you just placed that sentence right before that source)? Thanks. El_C 03:36, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

How is skin colour more of an American issue? if your statements are meant to be read in a more contemporaneous context, you ought to be more precise in qualifying them as such. Thanks. El_C 03:39, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

Sorry I don't know how to talk on this page. I am trying to reply to your questions. In any case, here are my reasons. When I read this article, I don't get the feeling that this page has been written from a Western European point of view. It seems though the article has been written from an American point of view. American society is deeply rooted in the fear of the unkown. "Fear of the black man" and fears of people living in lands far from the USA are some examples. Further, in the United States, skin culture is associated to the definition of culture as opposed to beliefs based on value systems and traditions and history.

Hi. New edits go at the foot of talk pages, see {{talkheader}} for detail. Just make sure that you are not adding your own opinion as fact and that you maintain an objective tone, with well-referenced sentences. See also this page for even more detail. Thank you, and Goodluck. El_C 04:05, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
