Eiji Okada

Eiji Okada (岡田英次) (June 13, 1920 – September 14, 1995) was a well-known Japanese film actor. His roles most famous internationally include the entomologist Niki Junpei in Hiroshi Teshigahara's adaptation of Kobo Abe's Woman in the Dunes and Lui ("him", in French) in Alain Resnais' new wave film Hiroshima mon amour.

Eiji Okada was born in Chiba, Japan, he married Aiko Wasa on {date unknown}. He died in Japan on September 14th, 1995 of heart failure, he was 75 years old.
