[edit] Mariah and Minnie

How can a person deem it impossible for Mariah and Minnie to ever be able to hit that note, because it is "beyond human hearing," and then in the next breat talk about how Adad Lopex hold the record for hitting it and surpassing it. I find this article a bit bias. Someone is trying to make it seem impossible for Minnie Riperton, and Mariah carey (who have hit notes very close to C8 with ease)to hit C8 but then say that Adam can go way past that note. The article is contradictory and bias in favor of Adam. It justa simple, but very noticable, error that can be fixed. :)

[edit] Very Much True

There are a few articles in which we can see this same bias towards Minnie and Mariah. But they did not go making the rounds trying to establish or break world records, their interest lies in making good music. Judging from the ease and flexibility these singers show in the whistle register we can safely assume that they could sing a C8 note and most likely go beyond that. That they did not choose to do it does not exclude the possibility that they could. With regards to Minnie Riperton, she did not have the type of commercial success that Mariah Carey has and also she died 26 years ago makes it difficult to get a hold on her recordings, so people just make those assumptions having only heard her most popular songs, that, taking a line from the person above, is a simple but very noticable error that can be fixed.  :]

[edit] upload sound file of me

Does Anyone know how to upload sound files in this page, Becuase I can believe it or not go this hi and I would like to upload a video of me doing it.

Given that most people can't hear it, it'd be rather useless. For examples of notes, a piano or synthesizer is probably preferable. Please sign your comments with four tildes, like the top of the box below. --Deusnoctum (talk) 09:34, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
