EH4

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

EH4 is a postal district for north-west Edinburgh, and is considered to belong to the most exclusive addresses, including Blackhall, Cramond and Barnton. House prices in this area of Edinburgh are considerably above the national average for a standard, suburban family home. EH4 also includes Davidson's Mains, another affluent suburb of Edinburgh.

In a recent survey, EH4 was declared to be the most millionaire populated Postal District in the United Kingdom. Craigcrook Place is considered the centre of EH4.

EH4 also covers other areas such as Clermiston and Drylaw, areas with a higher percentage of lower income households; as well as those such as Muirhouse and Pilton which are among Edinburgh's most deprived areas. Among Edinburgh's postcode areas, EH4 covers a relatively large population and the presence of a number of lower-income areas within the district waters down the argument that it corresponds with the most exclusive addresses.
