Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in Egyptian Mau. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. [edit] Egyptian Mau

Hello, I received your email asking how to add your site into the article to "fix broken links". Also in your email, you stated that you are waiting on "2 breeders wanting to sign up" and that you are "just waiting for payment", and for a "professional pic of a mau" so "it will look more professional". I don't know how or why you have a Wikipedia.org email account, but I have the Wikipedia policies to guide me, just like every other editor.

Adding spam links is against policy. Please do not link to your site again. Only reliable sources are allowed as references in any article. You say your site is "just 2 weeks old", but I'm afraid that may also be a conflict of interest, so that is discouraged also. I ask that you email the Wikimedia Foundation instead of me about such things. Until then, your edits to add your site to the article will be reverted. You may want to see the help page to post any questions you have there. Thanks and good luck. ←GeeAlice 23:45, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
