Category:Egyptian-style theaters
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Egyptian-style theaters are based on the traditional and historic cultural content of Egypt, and were a subset of the atmospheric theatre. Early in the twentieth century, estimates of up to 100 of these theater types were constructed across the country. Many of them no longer exist, but there are many fine examples of this style still in use today. A similar string of theatres, the Fox Theatres, were based on Oriental themes, instead of Egyptian ones.
