Welcome, but... I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Chemical archeology, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:Chemical archeology. If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. [edit] Strigi
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have perfomed a web search with the contents of Strigi, and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: Strigi (KDE). It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 09:22, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, I don't use IRC (I am using the Vandal Fighter which automatically watches edits to Wikipedia). In general, if you want to move a page, you shouldn't copy-and-paste its contents; instead, you should use the "move" link at the top of the page (to preserve the page's history); if you can't move a page in this way, list it at requested moves, or ask an administrator (such as me :-) to do the move for you. - Mike Rosoft 09:32, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
- For more instructions, you can go to Help:Moving a page. (If the target page already exists and ever contained anything but a redirect to the location you are moving the article from, only an administrator can do the move because the target page must be deleted first.) - Mike Rosoft 09:37, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
OK, thanx for these clarifications... sorry for not having moved it in the first place, and thanx for getting it right! -- EgonWillighagen 09:39, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Greetings
I've noticed the infobox work you've been doing lately, and I wanted to let you know about this tool for automatically generating infoboxes in the Chembox New format, if you have a CID (you have to select "PubChem ID" from the picklist.) I've also read your blog, and you have some interesting ideas. You might want to go to Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Chemistry, and leave a note introducing yourself. --Arcadian 14:51, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
