Soccer has been a big part of my life for 10 years. I have enjoyed the benifits and endured the hardships it has put me through. This is the story of Evan Gorder.

It all started when I was 5 years old I started playing recreational soccer. My dad was the coach and it was a blast, every year after that I played soccer. My friends and I loved it. 6 years later I made my u11 competitive day buie on the Fairfield Revolution. In that transitition I devolped and learned the competitive enviornment of soccer.

After 3 years on the Revolution I moved to Davis and I had to battle for a possition on the Davis Gunners. Unfortunatly I did not make the A team(Davis Gunners) that year but instead made the B team. We called ourselves the Davis Gunners Red. Durring that one year I devolped my soccer game termendolusly and meet friends that I will never forget. The team was all about having fun, we messed around at practice but still worked hard. The following year I made the A team and had to fight hard for playing time. It was tough because the coach had his favorites and I had to break into that band of people. That year we went to the finials in State Cup, it was an experience to remember.

The next year we got a new coach. For the two years that he was coaching he believed in me strongly and he tought me a ton about soccer. I became one of the best soccer players on the team and my game took off from there.
