Egne Hjem is a Oslo T-bane station on Kolsåsbanen located in Bærum. The station is situated between Ringstabekk and Bekkestua, 10.8 km from Stortinget. The station was opened on November 3, 1924. It is currently the least busy station on this subway line and is located only 300 m from Ringstabekk and 450 m from Bekkestua. Because of this, there are plans to close down Egne Hjem to speed the trains up.
Subway operations have been suspened on this line pending upgrades. Since December 2, 2007 tram operations (line 13) have returned on this line from Jar to Bekkestua. Operations beyond Jar use SL95 trams as there is no turnback loop at Bekkestua.
