[edit] Khobar Towers
Anyone want to tell me why there is no reference to the Khobar Tower attack of 1996 in the 33d FW history? Can someone more wiki-savvy than I undertake this project? Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.131.29.136 (talk) 21:29, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
- I added a link to Khobar Towers yesteday, because the majority of the victims were members of the 33d Fighter Wing. I'm not sure why someone removed it, but it is relevant. What gives? I'm putting the link back, and I will do so as many times as it is removed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.131.29.136 (talk) 15:26, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

- As for the Khobar Towers, I concur that it should be in the page since most of the victims were from this base.

[edit] Inaccurate F-15 picture
The photo of the F-15 states that it belongs to the 60 FS. That is incorrect. Aircraft assigned to that squadron have a red band at the top of their tails. The logo on the side of the intake is clearly not the 60 FS 'fighting crow' either. I know the aircraft belongs to the 33 FW, because of the EG on the tail (aircraft on the test-side of the base have the designation ET), but it does not belong to the 60 FS. Maybe it belongs to the Air Control Squadron. In the 90's, the three main squadrons of the 33 FW had different markings - the 58 FS had blue bands, the 59 FS had gold/yellow bands, and the 60 FS had red bands. I'll edit the caption to state that the aircraft belongs to the 33 FW. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.131.29.136 (talk) 18:29, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
