Egbert W. Beach Elementary School, commonly known as Beach School, is one of the three elementary schools in Piedmont, California.
The public school is part of the Piedmont Unified School District and serves grades kindergarten through fifth grade. Students who graduate from Beach School continue on to Piedmont Middle School.

Beach School was established in 1913. It was the city's second elementary school and it preceded the building of the high school in 1921.[1]
It was named after Egbert W. Beach, who fought in World War I.[2]

.Unlike the other school in the district, which are all well within a one-mile radius of each other, Beach School is relatively far from the center of town. Beach is several blocks from Piedmont Avenue in the city of Oakland.

One hundred percent of Beach teachers have full credentials, and the average number of years teaching is 16. The ratio of students to paraprofessional staff is 15:1.[4] The school's API Statewide Rank for 2005 was 10.[4] Its API score was 942,[5] the highest of the three elementary schools in Piedmont,[6] as well as the district average, 920.[7] The state average was a 709.[5]
