EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) is a non-profit membership foundation with a unique network of over 700 organisations today. These enterprises work together to improve their capabilities in understanding and implementing what delivers higher performance. Specifically designed to help organizations achieve excellence in their business initiatives, the EFQM organization works to capture the best practices of globally-minded organizations and to turn this knowledge into practical resources for the business community.

EFQM is a globally-recognized brand. Thousands of organizations across the world use the principles of EFQM to guide their business strategy and operations in alignment with their mission and goals.

Currently, over 700 organizations comprise the EFQM Network, through which, over 20,000 individuals are closely linked to EFQM's activities. EFQM has recently launched a leadership initiative, called The Pact, which is an exclusive group of private and public sector leaders who will take a leadership position in driving the Excellence movement in the years to come. The first EFQM members to join the Pact are: BMW, EDF, Grundfos, Philips, Solvay and Unilever.

The EFQM Excellence Model embeds the principles of Excellence in a framework that helps organizations assess their capabilities and strengths in order to achieve their particular goals.

The EFQM Annual Forum will take place on 27 - 29 October in Paris, France. This year's event focuses on creating a sustainable legacy for your business by expanding the concept of "high performance" to the whole business environment.
