Dr. Edythe Abdullah is the current President of the Downtown campus of Florida Community College at Jacksonville.
Edythe is from Jacksonville, Florida. She earned a bachelor's degree in religion from Valparaiso University in 1974. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida in 1978. Prior to accepting the presidency at FCCJ, Abdullah served the state of Florida on numerous educational boards. She currently serves on the University of North Florida Board of Trustees.[1]
