I am an entomology enthusiast and have an interest in many groups of insects (primarily Lepidoptera and Phasmatodea). I currently edit the Phasmid Study Group Newsletter, and I am an assistant author of the [Phasmida Species File].

I also keep a number of invertebrate species (land and aquatic snails, slugs, butterflies, moths, stick & leaf insects, beetles, cockroaches, springails). These are kept either for studying rearing methods and/or behaviour, or just for pleasure (often a mixture of both).

Despite this being my primary interest, I have a BSc degree in Physics and have a very broad interest in science & technology subjects.

I also enjoy keeping a number of aquatic and terrestrial plants, with a particular interest in succulents (including cacti) and carnivorous plants.

  • I started the Phasmatodea WikiProject to encourage the development of Wikipedia articles in this area.
  • I plan to add a substantial amount of articles on the families, genera and species of the Phasmatodea over the next few months.

  • I have been working through Category:Gastropods to attach {{WikiProject Gastropods}} to the Talk pages in order to indicate that these articles are under the remit of WikiProject Gastropods.
