When was he born? Is he still alive?

The DOB is in the article (MON DD, 1917). Yes, he is alive. He comes into his office nearly every day (I am a graduate student in the Green Building, where he works. Nationalparks 06:19, 5 December 2005 (UTC)

I would like to add more on the significance of his work but remain unsure if it would be best added to his bio page or that for the Lorenz attractor. Maybe I'll work both with more technical info on the other page. The thing is, its not too technical but still might enhance the attractor page. Just thought I'd say.
