Father Hughes is a notable figure in the history of Spiritual warfare. He is one of a very few number of known Roman Catholic priests that actually performed the ancient rite of exorcism in the 20th Centutry. The 1949 case that he is connected to is world famous. It is still being written and filmed about today in new books and documentaries. Father Edward Hughes is still being discussed in these latest books and films and the movie that was inspired by the exorcism case that Father Hughes initiated is world famous also and still part of our culture.
