Is he related to John Budgen of Budgens ? Obina 19:25, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

I thought this was the guy responsible for the Budgens stores. The Budgens article used to say so, but now refers to John Budgen instead. Will endeavour to find out more. Claval 23:03, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

This chap may be local but there are multiple non trivial sources so he passes primary notability criteria. Note also that WP:BIO is a guideline not a policy. I do recognise we need more WP:RS but of course it is harder for pre internet people.Obina 19:27, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
