A phonetic transcription of the name Albee would be welcome. Is it 'ɔːlbiː or 'ælbiː? (My amateurish IPA usage probably needs some editing.) 84.177.104.11 08:11, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

I don't think Albee should be included as a "Washington D.C. writer" at all. Apart from being born and put up for adoption there, he has no connection to D.C. whatsoever; he "lived" there for two days -- as a newborn. He's a New York writer, obviously. The "Creativity is magic" line in the Quotes section is properly sourced, yet a few lines below under Discography there's a directly contradictory quotation.
