Description

Picture of the pear in Edward Everett Square. The pear was placed at the corner of Columbia Road and Columbia Road (that is not a typo). This area of Dorchester was once a ripe area for growing the Clapp pear, “an exceptionally sweet and early pear with good flavor and tough skin”, hence the choice.
