Edwin Mitchelson

Edwin Mitchelson (1846 – 1934) was a 19th century New Zealand politician.
He was the Minister of Māori Affairs from 1887 to 1891. He represented the Marsden electorate from 1881 to 1887, then Eden from 1887 to 1896, when he was defeated (for the City of Auckland electorate). He was the Mayor of Auckland from 1903 to 1905. He was a member of the Legislative Council, and was knighted (K.C.M.G.) in 1920.
