Edwin Coup

Edwin Coup (June 9, 1861 — July 2, 1892) was an English cricketer. He was a left-handed batsman who represented Derbyshire between 1885 and 1887.
Coup made his debut in a victory against Hampshire, though he did not play in another first-class match for nine months. Coup made his best single-innings total of 33 in the following season, and played more matches during 1886 than in any other year.
Coup played occasionally in 1887, but quit the game at the end of the season. He was born in Ripley and died in Mickleover at the age of 31.
