  • Edwardsburg had its own family-owned restaurant named "Jakes's Junction" which was housed in an old rootbeer drive-in; previous tenants called the place "Bower's" and "Bradley's". Like its predecessors, Jake's had a friendly train theme and an innovative set-up including orders made through in-house phonelines and varying floor levels and was considered a very friendly and tasty eatery. However, it went out of business when a McDonalds opened next door. The vacant building was bought by a financially stable company and is now called "Maple Cafe".
