Edward Whitehead

Edward Whitehead (May 20, 1908 – April 16, 1978) was a British naval officer, a veteran of the South Pacific campaign in His Majesty's Navy, better known as the advertising representative of Schweppes Tonic Water. The first campaign was created by Ogilvy & Mather Agency in 1955 and ran through the 1960s.
Born in Aldershot, England, Commander Whitehead was at one time the President of Schweppes (USA) and General Manager (Overseas).
