Edward Tudor
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Edward Tudor was the supposed son of Henry VII and Elizabeth of York. It is most likely that he was born, if he did exist, towards the beginning of the marriage (1487 or 1488) or towards the end of it (1498-1501). He most assuredly died shortly after birth. There is controversy over his existence, for people think he was confused with Edmund Tudor, Duke of Somerset. Author Alison Weir says that Edward did, in fact, exist, and was buried at Westminster Abbey with the rest of his family. There are other Edward Tudors, such as his nephew, Edward VI.
