Edward Peter Cullen (born 1933) is the third and current Roman Catholic bishop of the Diocese of Allentown. Cullen was born on March 15, 1933 in Yeadon, Pennsylvania; he was the second of five children in an Irish-Catholic family. He eventually became an engineering student at the Drexel Institute of Technology; in 1953 he entered the St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Philadelphia, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1958.

He was ordained a priest in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia on May 19, 1962; he became an auxiliary bishop there on February 8, 1994 and later a vicar general there.

He was consecrated as titular bishop of Paria in Proconsolare on April 14, 1994 and later installed as bishop of Allentown on February 9, 1998 to replace the resigning Thomas Jerome Welsh.
