Edward Malcolm

Edward Malcolm is the Presiding Bishop of the Church of England (Continuing). This is an independent Anglican church body in the evangelical or low church tradition, founded in February 1994. Malcolm was a former Church of England missionary priest before he left the State Church to join this small independent jurisdiction. He was consecrated as assistant bishop of this church on 13 September 1998 by then Presiding Bishop David Norman Samuel, PhD. On 27 May 2001 he succeeded Dr. Samuel as the second Presiding Bishop of the Church of England (Continuing).
