Edward Burgess Hudson (1854–1936) was the founder of Country Life magazine in 1897.
Country Life was an early lifestyle magazine. Edward Hudson was the owner of Lindisfarne Castle and a number of other Lutyens houses, including Deanery Gardens in Sonning, designed and built 1899–1901, and featured in the magazine.
