Edward Hirst is a photojournalist, researcher and technology and communications consultant based in the UK.

A photojournalist since 1986. His work has been published on the covers of most UK national newspapers, and many magazines. From the old school of photography and UK photojournalism where the emphasis is on telling the story. Specialising in news, feature stories, celebrities, TV and film. Currently he is represented in the UK by London based news and picture agency Equinox Features.
