Edward Frank Harrison

Edward Frank Harrison (1869 – 1918)[1] was a British chemist credited with the invention of the modern gas mask.

In memory of Harrison's achievements in protecting British forces from poison gas in the First World War, the Royal Society of Chemistry awards the Harrison Memorial Prize to young chemists who have excelled in their field[2][3]
