Edward C. Moran, Jr.

Edward Carleton Moran, Jr. (December 29, 1894-July 12, 1967) was an American politician from Maine. A graduate of Bowdoin and a veteran of the first World War, he ran for governor of Maine in 1928 and 1930. He was elected to two terms as a congressman from 1933 to 1937. He did not run in 1936 and served in several small state and federal jobs until his death in 1967. He was interred in Achorn Cemetery in Rockland, Maine.
