Edward Budgen

Edward Budgen was a well known provisions merchant and resident of Egham.

He was a generous benefactor of the Church of England. He helped found a mission hall (1919) and then helped found the church construction (1928) of St. Pauls. He left an endowment shared among Guildford diocese (5/8th), St Paul's, Egham Hythe (1/4th), and St John's, Egham(1/8th).[1]
