[edit] k-12
This article is not very representative of the city. The higher ed part of the article covered the whole metro area, but the k-12 only cover st. louis public schools. There are dozens of other public school districts in the metro area as well as a number of major private schools like vishon, chamanade, incarnate word, st. pius([St. Pius X High School (Festus)]), etc.
somebody should be compiling these. DaronDierkes (talk) 07:39, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Article title
Shouldn't this be "Education in St. Louis, Missouri"? "Of" makes it sound like St. Louis is being educated. howcheng {chat} 17:29, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Takeover of school district by the state
The St. Louis Public School district was taken over by the state and lost its accreditation [1] in June. There is nothing in this article about that, can someone with more knowledge address it? --ERTBen 23:25, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
