The 1616 act of the Privy Council mentioned in this article needs a citation. This article provides a place and date, but I don't have access to the the act itself. Another article gives quotes from the of the 1616 act, but I couldn't track down the source.

Added preliminary ratings (set importance to Mid for WP Scotland because the act is the basis for future school establishment acts). Class doesn't really fit this short article, so classified it as start. Notuncurious (talk) 23:57, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
