Thank you for posting it. I recently added a Wikipedia entry about cornea transplants and found it helpful for the history section. I hope you don't mind that I edited your article to make it more Wikipedia friendly.

It would be helpful if you could point out some sources for your entry. Online sources are good, but a book or magazine would also work.

Thanks again, and welcome to Wikipedia. --barista 4 July 2005 01:45 (UTC)

I would like to see some sources, too. The article currently states: "The corneas of an 11-year-old boy who passed away was transplanted into the eyes of a day laborer, who was blinded by an accident while slaking lime." There are a number of sources that report that the donor lost only his eyes, not his life. -AED 04:35, 30 April 2006 (UTC)

For future reference, the information in that text was identical to that on this website: [1]. -AED 23:41, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Details

An Italian link[2] (English translation: [3]) appears to state that Brauer's injury occured in July, 2005 and that Glogar lived for another three years after the surgery. -AED 23:26, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
