Eduardo Ribeiro dos Santos (born 5th August 1980 in São João, Piauí) is a Brazilian footballer who currently plays as striker for En Avant Guingamp in the Ligue 2.
Born in Brazil, Eduardo applied for the Swiss citizenship in September 2006 after living in Switzerland for six years that would enable him to play on the Swiss national team.[1]
Eduardo scored his first goal for Guingamp, a penalty against Strasbourg.[2] He gained many admirers due to his versatile play exhibited with Grasshoppers playing opposite Richard Nuñez.
