Eduardo B. Manzano is a Philippine actor, politician, TV host and comedian. Born September 14, 1955, Manzano is currently the host of Pilipinas, Game KNB?. Initially, he replaced Kris Aquino for an indefinite period. However, in mid June of 2007, ABS-CBN announced that he will permanently replace Kris Aquino for the show.[1]

He is also the host of the new game show, 1 vs. 100.

Manzano is the father of Philippine actor Luis Philippe Manzano and the former husband of Batangas governor Vilma Santos. He is known for his villain roles and his sense of humor.

  • He is the son of the late Rosario Manzano (1922-2008).
  • At 17, he joined the U.S. military and served for four years.
  • Became the president of the Philippine actor's guild, KAPP (Kapisanan ng mga Artista sa Pelikulang Pilipino), in 1995.
  • Currently the chair of the Optical Media Board which fights intellectual piracy. He replaced Ramon 'Bong' Revilla Jr.
  • Considered running in the Philippine senatorial race in 2007. He later backed out despite the backing of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, citing his lack of funds to do a nationwide campaign.
  • Former boyfriend of Anjanette Abayari.
  • Former host of GMA-7's public service program, "Emergency" from 1995 to 1998, and replaced by Arnold Clavio.
  • Former Game Show host of Love Bytes.
  • Former Game Show host of Philippine version of The Weakest Link.
  • Former Vice Mayor of City of Makati in the late '90's.
  • Appeared in Philippine rock band Sandwich's music video of their song, DVDX. Some might say that the reason of Edu's appearance is because of his position as chairman of the Optical Media Board, and the song's taunt about piracy.
