Hi Ed. I'm sorry I had to remove that section but that is the way Wikipedia works. Wikipedia is not a blog or a message board. It is an attempt to create an encyclopedia and as such adheres to certain principles. Some of the most important, and pertinent to your situation, are Neutral Point of View WP:NPOV, No Original Research WP:NOR, and Verifiability WP:Verifiability of entries.
Below is a stock definition of what wikipedia is: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia incorporating elements of general encyclopedias, specialized encyclopedias, and almanacs. All articles must follow our no original research policy and strive for accuracy; Wikipedia is not the place to insert personal opinions, experiences, or arguments. Furthermore, Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information. Wikipedia is not a trivia collection, a soapbox, a vanity publisher, an experiment in anarchy or democracy, or a web directory. Nor is Wikipedia a dictionary, a newspaper, or a collection of source documents; these kinds of content should be contributed to the sister projects, Wiktionary, Wikinews, and Wikisource, respectively.
In short, the section on student life had to be deleted because it was unverifiable (I have no way of verifying what was written there) because it has not been published in recognized respected sources. It consisted of original research which may nor may not be true and you will have to admit, it was not written in a neutral point of view. Even if everything in that section was true for the person who wrote the article, it is just that person's point of view and the article has to stay neutral. I think if you will check, I even deleted some of the good things that talked about how beautiful the campus was. Does this answer your questions? Caper13 06:01, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
