Guys, this stuff about Rolls leaving is actually true. Here's an extract from an e-mail the Corpus Christi College senior tutor sent out today:

"I am writing to inform you that Professor Rolls has resigned from his College and University posts."

If you don't believe me, traceroute my IP. I'm a member of Corpus Christi, Oxford.

All the unsourced stuff about theoretical bigotry and mistreatment of animals I would assume is coming from former colleagues in the psychology department. As it's never going to be able to be sourced, I don't know whether it should or should not be included (but I suppose if anyone wanted to identify themselves, we could treat it as 'expert opinion').163.1.143.119 (talk) 18:43, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

Rolls is no longer listed in the Departmental Staff here - http://www.psy.ox.ac.uk/research/academic-research-staff - which proves the point that he has left the University. Note also that his personal departmental website - http://www.cns.ox.ac.uk - is no longer available, it has been removed from the University's service. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.42.123.155 (talk) 23:44, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

Yep, also if you do a contact search for him here - http://www.ox.ac.uk/applications/contact_search/index.rm?lastname=rolls&initial=&exact=true&find_email.x=24&find_email.y=6 - he doesn't come up. He's definitely been sacked. 129.67.137.186 (talk) 15:21, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
