The Edmonton Cracker-Cats are an independent minor league baseball team that play in the Golden Baseball League. Based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, they play at Telus Field. The 2005 season was their inaugural season.

The name "Cracker-Cats" is derived from the oil industry term Fluid Catalytic Cracking ("cat cracking" for short), which is part of the process of refining crude oil into gasoline by onverting high boiling hydrocarbons into smaller molecules.

- May 20, 2005 - First game of inaugural season at the Kansas City T-Bones.
- May 27, 2005 - 7894[1] fans attend inaugural home opener vs the Sioux Falls Canaries.
- June 13, 2006 - Infamous brawl with the Calgary Vipers. The resulting suspension leads manager Terry Bevington to resign.
- July 18, 2006 - Stubby Clapp named MVP of the Northern League All-Star game.
- September 3, 2006 - The Cracker-Cats finish their second season six games back in the wild card race and miss the playoffs.
- 2007 Season - Edmonton adds 3 former Major Leaguer's, Ryan Radmanovich, Mike Johnson, and Lou Pote. The 'Cats finished 38-58 and last in the league.
- October 24, 2007 - The team officially joins the Golden Baseball League.
