[edit] Orfen

Orfen (talk ยท contribs) I have been contributing since July and have contributed over 2600 edits to Wikipedia since then. I am eventually looking to become an administrator but would like to know if I am on the right track as I feel my editing style may have changed recently. I had a previous peer review which did not yield many results located at Wikipedia:Editor review/Orfen and I'm hoping to get some hopeful advice on how to improve as a contributor to Wikipedia to further help the project.  Orfen User Talk | Contribs 01:41, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

Reviews

  • If you had an RfA, the main complaint against you would be your low Wikipedia-space edits. You only have 166. Many people who vote on RfAs like to see around 400 or 500. You seem to be a good user, but people would probably raise this complain against you should you have an RfA right now. Captain panda 22:58, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

Comments

Thank you for the review Captain panda, it has given me some helpful advice, however this page has been around for over a month so I have chosen to archive it. Thanks again for the review.  Orfen User Talk | Contribs 20:46, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
A majority of my edits have gone towards music related articles mainly My Chemical Romance and Green Day related articles. I helped the Green Day article become a Good Article and am currently trying to help The Black Parade article become a Good Article. While a majority of my contributions I made went to band, song, and album articles I have contributed to biographical articles, anime, and television articles. I have also at times hit the random article button to see if I can contribute to the article that pops up.
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
I can't say I have had any conflicts with any users in the past. While my views may have conflicted with another user's I have tried to keep civil and tried to prove my points through policies and sources. I do not try and call other editors names or anything of the like and have always tried to assume good faith. If however a conflict did arise in the future I would be sure to treat the user with respect and civility and try to resolve it as peacefully as posible through the Wikipedia policies.
