Meno25 (talk · contribs) I would like some feedback from other users about the way I contribute in Wikipedia. I started contributing in Wikipedia on April 14, 2006. I plan to nominate myself as an administrator by July 2007. So, I would like to know if other users have any comments or pieces of advice to help make me a better user in the future. Reviews
- Here we go (Daniel's style, sort of).
-
- Activity: ~3,900 edits is a great enough number, and you appear to be very active in the recent period; almost 85% were made in November. That would probably count against you if you were to run in an RfA (people don't generally trust users who have been active only recently), but if you can keep your activity up for the next few months, it would count strongly in your favor.
- Mainspace: You've made 1959 edits to the mainspace, which is very good.
- Wikipedia: RfA voters usually criticize you if you don't participate in XfDs, AfDs, MfDs, countervandalism, and other administrative chores. You definitely need more work and participation in there to satisfy voters.
- User talk: Nothing to report here, from me at least.
- Civility: I don't think I've seen you behave in an uncivil manner. A slight problem with the talk page header issue though.
- Final thoughts: Overall, you are a good and dedicated user. Your edits to Arabic articles are helpful. I suggest you try to maintain your current level of activity, and I believe you'd be well suited to adminship by June 2007. ← ANAS Talk? 17:11, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
- I've had only one contact, but he is certainly polite and helpful.--OinkOink 04:54, 31 December 2006 (UTC)

Questions
- Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
- Well, I am pleased with all of my contributions in Wikipedia. However, I created about 45 articles a list of which can be found here. You can say that these are the contributions that I am pleased of most.Of these are: List of titles of Ma Waraa Al Tabiaa series and List of titles of Malaf Al Mostakbal series which I have edited alone. I also created and contributed heavily in the article about Asalah Nasri.
- Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- No, not really. I don't usually edit controversial articles. However, I have committed the small mistakes that any new user does like: forgetting to specify the license of an image I uploaded and not writing the edit summary. I now , of course, avoid these mistakes. Concerning dealing with edit conflicts in the future, I think that the most important thing is to remain civil and to assume good faith of other users. After all, all the users of Wikipedia donate some of their time and work to make the world a better place. We must of course obey Wikipedia policies. If an edit conflict arouse about a certain article, the article should be left without editing for a while and a discussion about it commences on the talk page. I, as an example, may refer to the Copt article in which there was a discussion about a controversial matter here.
